Trapped between four walls
No windows, no doors, no escape
And still it calls
in a royal shape

Trying to control it
A thing society can’t seem to accept
It makes my head split
Wasn’t it caused by our own neglect?

Distancing ourselves from our own kind
In order to control the spread
Whilst I stay quarantined
The ignorance of others is the thing I dread
